Can’t see ’em? Can’t hit ’em!

Visual ability is critical in competitive shooting sports and the eyes are important indicators of overall health. Comprehensive eye care goes beyond a prescription for glasses or contact lenses. This site provides information about vision correction and vision enhancement available to the competitive shooting sports community as well as general information about eye health.

Visit the Vision and Shooting section for a wide range of topics that can enhance your visual skills and abilities including prescription options, visualization/mental imagery and nutritional topics.

The most important message we can provide….Get an eye exam! As a competitor, you spend thousands of dollars on firearms and ammunition, hours and hours practicing and competing in a sport that requires analysis of incredible amounts of visual information. Not having an optimized vision correction is a significant disadvantage! Additionally, many eye health and disease issues have few symptoms in the early stages. If you are over forty and shoot iron sighted pistols, front sight focus becomes a significant issue over time. Customized prescriptions designed to improve front sight focus are invaluable. See your local optometrist, preferably someone with a sports vision emphasis.

If you live in or are visiting the Phoenix metro area and you want to schedule an appointment with Dr. Pearson at our Fiesta Mall location, click the Book An Appointment button. Additionally, you can fill out information before arriving at the office with the online Patient Welcome Form.

Go to PearsonEyecare.com if you or your friends or relatives want to schedule a general eye exam at one of our other locations in Mesa, Phoenix or Glendale.

Order contacts lenses from our Contact Lens Store and get convenient home delivery of contact lenses. (You must have a current valid contact lens prescription.)

Thanks for visiting our site…Get an eye exam….Shoot better!
